We spoke with two of our graduating apprentices about their Apprenticeships and next steps now they are qualified. Read on to hear their stories.
Danielle – Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprentice
After successfully completing her Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship, Danielle is now beginning an exciting new chapter at Minster Playgroup.
Reflecting on reaching her graduation day, Danielle shared: “Today has been a really lovely and rewarding day – after all the hard work I feel like we all deserve to celebrate.”
Looking ahead, she’s excited to spend more time with the children and to support them as they learn and grow.
Returning to education as an adult felt daunting at first, but that feeling quickly disappeared once she got started. “It was a little bit daunting coming back into education, but once I got started it was fine. I thoroughly enjoyed it,” she explained.
The experience helped her realise she had chosen the right path, confirming her passion for working with children. “My favourite thing about my role is watching the children grow up and seeing how far they come as they graduated into reception.”
Her message to others considering an Apprenticeship is: “Keep strong and never give up – all of the hard work is worth it.
“I’m so proud of myself for completing my qualification. I’ve learnt how strong I am and that I’m capable of doing anything I set my mind to. I’ve realised my worth and know I can achieve anything now, so I’m excited for my future.”
Ryan – Level 3 Business Administrator Apprentice
Ryan completed our Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship. Reflecting on the experience, he describes it as a “genuinely positive decision” and one he “wouldn’t hesitate to recommend” to others.
Ryan spoke highly of the support he received throughout his Apprenticeship, saying: “I got the most help here than I have anywhere else, and they’ve really helped me to excel.”
For anyone just starting out, Ryan has some clear advice: “ask lots of questions, there’s never a bad question.” And for those still deciding whether an Apprenticeship is the right next step, his message is even simpler: “Go for it, just do it. It was the best thing that I’ve ever done.”
Looking ahead, Ryan is keen to continue his learning journey. He hopes to progress further in his career, using the skills he learnt while on his Apprenticeship to aid him. With the backing of EKC Training and the confidence he’s gained, Ryan is well prepared for whatever comes next.
