Across the two weeks, you’ll build fundamental skills in both Bricklaying and Plastering with engaging sessions.
Studying at our EKC Training Construction Training Centre in Hersden, near Canterbury, means you’ll also benefit from wraparound support throughout the course from our experienced team.
This course is FREE to those aged 19+ claiming benefits or Universal Credit, or earning under £25,750.

On this course, you’ll develop the basic knowledge and skills required to start out in the trades of Bricklaying and Plastering.
There are several core units over the space of two-weeks, including:
• Practical Bricklaying Skills
• Practical Plastering Skills
• Health and Safety in Construction
• Working in the Construction Industry
Practical sessions are a big focus of this course, with much of your time spent in our indoor and outdoor workshops.
In these, you’ll apply theory knowledge and grow your practical skills, while also discovering which trade best suits your interests and strengths.
