Karen Sharp
Member – Local College Board
Karen is passionate about supporting communities in which young people are valued for their skills and interests, and are supported when needed, to overcome challenges they experience. She is clinically trained to support young people and families battling with substance misuse, and has worked in many roles within the NHS, building good relationships with education.
Karen would love for more young people to want to work in the NHS or care services, whether as a doctor or nurse, within construction and digital roles, or even in the community, supporting people to be fit and healthy. Karen believes there is something for everyone and great career opportunities for employment.
