He began his journey as a Level 2 Bricklaying student, where his commitment, positive attitude, and strong work ethic quickly set him apart.
Turning training into opportunity
After completing his Level 2 Bricklaying qualification, Rob’s potential was recognised and he entered into his first professional role in construction immediately after completing the course.
“I have never had a job before other than working with my family. Being offered my new role was a great opportunity for me.”
Building skills for the future
Rob continues to invest in his development. He later enrolled in the Level 2 Plastering. He prepared himself for long-term success within the construction industry.
Growing in confidence
Rob also took his skills out of the classroom, completing landscaping projects and planning to grow his own business. He bought a new pickup truck, funded by his new job, to help him take on more work for friends and family and to line up more projects.
“I’m really grateful to Will for giving me a chance with the course. I’m excited to see what the future holds,” he said.
